Tehran’s truckers join strike at the capital’s terminal

Just this morning in the capital’s truckload terminal the situation for authorities got out of control as drivers declared their working rights. A lot of noise could be heard from the video that was put on Telegram as a large crowd filled the passage inside the terminal.

Young drivers backed each other and chanted, “do not be afraid – we are all as one”. Instantly the crowd began to call on the store owners and merchants to close down their shops in respect to the ongoing strike since May 22.
Only an hour later a video came in showing all the stores closed and the terminal left empty.
Also, coming thru on the internet are Iranian drivers stationed in Georgia, who are refusing to load their refrigerated trucks and tell their fellow drivers in Iran that they stand with them.
