While global attention remains fixed on war and negotiations, the clerical regime has launched one of its most extensive campaigns of political executions and repression in recent memory. Young protesters, political activists, students and opposition supporters are being sent to the gallows while much of the democratic world remains distracted. The surge in executions should be a matter of grave concern for every civilized nation. Instead, silence prevails as governments hold their breath, waiting for the latest twist in Donald Trump’s on-again, off-again peace initiative and hopes of an end to conflict involving Iran. Invasion of the defiant youths and explosion in the Quds Corps of Gilan, the 16th operational division

Invasion of defiant youths on the headquarters of Gilan Quds Corps of IRGC – 16th operational division and an explosion was heard.

The 16 Quds operational division is one of the infantry divisions of the Revolutionary Guards and has a long track record in repression, especially in the Kurdish areas of northwestern Iran.

The 16th operational division has been one of the permanent suppliers of forces for the Quds terrorist group in the IRGC.

During the uprisings in 2022, guards of the 16 Quds Division carried out missions in different cities of the province to strengthen different areas under the control of the Revolutionary Guards in Gilan province and arrested, beat and tortured protesting youths.
