When Students Rise, Tyrants Tremble

By Struan Stevenson Throughout modern history, student uprisings have served as one of the clearest indicators that a regime has entered its final and most dangerous phase. Young people possess a unique capacity to sense political decay long before many others. They see through propaganda, reject hollow promises, and refuse to accept a future stolen by corruption, repression, and incompetence. When students pour onto the streets in large numbers, authoritarian rulers have every reason to fear the consequences. The latest wave of protests sweeping Tehran, Mashhad, and Hamedan should therefore ring alarm bells throughout Iran’s ruling establishment. The killing of Mullah Soleimani, representative of the mullahs' regime's assembly of experts, in Babelser

 A member of the Council of Experts of the mullahs’ regime was killed during an armed attack in Babolsar, northern Iran



The Iranian regime’s official news agency (IRNA) reported that Mullah Soleimani, a member of the regime’s Assembly of Experts, was killed in an armed attack this morning, Wednesday, April 26. And the Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency wrote: “The political, security, and social deputy of Mazandaran Province reported that an assassination attempt had taken place targeting Ayatollah Abbas Ali Soleimani, a member of the Council of Leadership Experts, and his death in Babelser. And Ruhollah Salki added in an interview with an IRNA reporter on Wednesday: Ayatollah Soleimani was assassinated this morning in an attack by an unknown person, and he died.

Abbas Ali Soleimani Espoo Clayi (born in 1947 in Espukla, Sawadkuh) is a member of the Assembly of Experts. He was the representative of the Guardian Jurist and the Friday Imam of Kashan from August 15, 2020, to March 29, 2023, after Abdulnabi Namazi. He was also the representative of the Guardian Jurist in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan and the Friday Imam in Zahedan as well.
