Iran’s economy will continue to struggle during Biden presidency

The argument goes that President-elect Biden will rejoin the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the Iran nuclear deal, meaning funds will flow back into the treasury of the Iranian regime, just as they did in 2015. However, Iran’s situation is more complicated now and, due to several critical factors, its economy is less likely to rebound to the high levels seen after the nuclear deal was first struck. Accusing the strongest and most organized democratic opposition of Iran, the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), of being a “cult” is absurd and a signature move of the religious dictatorship ruling Iran.  For years , the regime has spread the most despicable disinformation against the MEK in order to discredit it. Yet regime officials constantly express their deep-seated fears about the increasing number of youths joining the MEK. As recently as June of this year, the regime’s Foreign Ministry  called  the MEK a “terror cult,” while at the same time the mullahs  announced  the arrest of two elite university students for supporting the organization. The world has a moral obligation to support the Iranian people

It engulfed almost 200 cities and, in a matter of days, 1,500 people, including teenagers, were indiscriminately and deliberately murdered by security forces. Iran’s Regime Expresses Fear of Upcoming Trial of “Diplomat-Terrorist” Assadollah Assadi

This case is important and urgent for Iran,” Peyman Sadat, the Director-General of Europe in Iran’s Foreign Ministry, told the official ISNA news agency on Wednesday.   Sadat, who is an official of the world’s top executioner per capita and the worst human rights violating state, complained about the “human rights” of Assadi being ignored.   “Assadollah Assadi was arrested in a highly inhumane manner. His case was one of my tasks in Brussels. My deputy and I went to see him every week, but after each visit, he was subjected to physical examination. Iranian Propaganda Has Grown More Insidious in the Era of Social Media

In October, 92 other websites were similarly targeted by Washington after their links to Iran were exposed. Also in that month, roughly 1,600 accounts were shut down by Twitter for participating in the same campaign while falsely representing themselves as belonging to genuine American and European users. Iranians inside country, across globe honor victims of 2019 protests crackdown

  Reporting by PMOI/MEK Iran, November 11, 2020— The Iranian Resistance held a massive  online conference  in  Ashraf 3  on November 10, connecting to various places around the globe and in Iran, marking the first anniversary of Iran’s nationwide  November 2019 uprising  that swept to over 190 cities throughout the country. Ashraf 3 is home to members of the Iranian opposition movement the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ) in Albania. Speakers and representatives of Iranian communities from around the world joined the conference on the internet and hailed the  1,500 martyrs of major protests in 2019 , pledging to continue the struggle for a free and democratic Iran.   Iran, November 10, 2020— Marking the first anniversary of Iran’s  nationwide November 2019 uprising  that swept to over 190 cities throughout the country, Iranian youths in exile held a major online conference on Tuesday, November 10, vowing to continue the struggle for freedom in Iran. The event commemorated the enormous bravery shown by the Iranian people during the uprising and the courageous network of “ Resistance Units ” inside Iran that continue to stand up to the regime stronger than ever before. The Resistance Units are a vast network associated directly to the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ).
