Countering Iran’s Threat, Strategies for Regional Stability

Image
Written by Mahmoud Hakamian Two-minute read On Sunday morning, April 14, the Iranian regime launched an unprecedented attack against Israel, escalating tensions in the Middle East. Despite military experts’ assessments that the attack failed, it underscores  Iran’s role as a focal point  of regional conflict. The October 7th attack sent shockwaves globally. Despite ample evidence implicating the Iranian regime, Western governments dismissed Tehran’s involvement, adhering to a flawed appeasement policy toward the primary state sponsor of terrorism. They disregarded explicit statements from Revolutionary Guards  (IRGC) commanders boasting  about their direct role in the attack. For decades, the Iranian Resistance has urged the international community to adopt a resolute stance against the Iranian regime’s aggression and terrorism. Despite persistent calls, the failed appeasement policy of the West allowed Tehran to escalate its belligerent activities, including financing, arming, train

Who Is “Reza the Bully”, and Why Does Reza Pahlavi Seek Credit from Him?

Image
Written by Shahriar Kia Since 1980, Reza Pahlavi, the son of the former  ousted dictator of Iran , who has been enjoying a luxurious life in the United States with the wealth his father stole from the people of Iran, is trying to position himself as the rightful heir and ruler of Iran. However, his claims are shrouded in lies and deceit, as he struggles to rebrand his grandfather as a benevolent ruler, even though he was a dictator who oppressed the Iranian people for decades. The reality is that the Shah was a notorious figure, who was widely criticized for his brutal regime and widespread human rights abuses. Despite Pahlavi’s attempts to revise history, the truth is that the Shah was a cruel tyrant who ruled with an iron fist. He suppressed dissent, censured the media, imposed martial law, and reign led to widespread poverty, corruption, and illiteracy. Nevertheless, as some Persian-language media are echoing Pahlavi’s false sentiments with dubious agendas, it might be worth revis

Iran – Rasht Invasion of defiant youths on the headquarters of Gilan Quds Corps of IRGC – 16th operational division and an explosion was heard. The 16 Quds operational division is one of the infantry divisions of the Revolutionary Guards and has a long track record in repression, especially in the Kurdish areas of northwestern Iran. The 16th operational division has been one of the permanent suppliers of forces for the Quds terrorist group in the IRGC. During the uprisings in 2022, guards of the 16 Quds Division carried out missions in different cities of the province to strengthen different areas under the control of the Revolutionary Guards in Gilan province and arrested, beat and tortured protesting youths. Iran’s Regime on the Brink: What’s Behind the Infighting?

Image
Written by Shahriar Kia The Iranian regime’s power struggles have boiled over, prompting Supreme Leader Ali  Khamenei to caution officials  about the dire repercussions of their internal conflicts on April 22. What is driving this escalating turmoil?  After the  November 2019 uprising , which posed a significant threat to his regime, Khamenei recognized that even a hint of discord among his ranks could result in the downfall of the ruling theocracy. Consequently, he initiated a process of “power consolidation,” starting with eliminating rival faction candidates during the 2020 sham parliamentary elections and handpicking his preferred parliamentarians. In June 2021, Khamenei appointed  Ebrahim Raisi  as president despite the latter’s reprehensible human right s record. Shortly thereafter, the Supreme Leader appointed  Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Eje’i, another notorious criminal, as the head of the judiciary.  “A very important strategy is the cooperation between heads of three branches. The killing of Mullah Soleimani, representative of the mullahs' regime's assembly of experts, in Babelser

A member of the Council of Experts of the mullahs’ regime was killed during an armed attack in Babolsar, northern Iran The Iranian regime’s official news agency (IRNA) reported that Mullah Soleimani, a member of the regime’s Assembly of Experts, was killed in an armed attack this morning, Wednesday, April 26. And Ruhollah Salki added in an interview with an IRNA reporter on Wednesday: Ayatollah Soleimani was assassinated this morning in an attack by an unknown person, and he died. Abbas Ali Soleimani Espoo Clayi (born in 1947 in Espukla, Sawadkuh) is a member of the Assembly of Experts. Protests and conflicts in Balochistan, the impasse of Iran’s regime

Image
By Reza Hoseani After the injury of four youths by the police forces by being run over by a car, people gathered in front of the hospital and the condition of the injured was reported to be critical. Following the popular protests, the repressive forces of the Mullahs’ regime started oppressing the people and shooting at them. Since the youth use motorcycles to write slogans against the regime and burn government banners at night, the repressive forces apply undeclared martial law during the night and consider every motorcycle rider as an enemy and treat them with violence. Or they shoot at them. This also indicates that they are very afraid of protesting young people and they do not want their actions to lead to mass protests again, which will threaten their existence. Protests and clashes in Balochistan indicate the deadlock of the regime in suppressing popular uprisings. The fact is that Iran is living in a very critical political, economic, and social situation. Politically, the

The Future of Iran’s Revolution: Hope or Despair?

Image
Written by Shahriar Kia Iranian authorities’ heavy quash hasn’t stopped the  nationwide wave of dissent  that began in September. As the uprising persists, one might ask about its prospects. Will it lead to the regime’s downfall, or will the mullahs eventually regain control? What measures will lead to the regime’s downfall? What are the possible outcomes? And how can the international community help the Iranian people?  Protests erupted in Iran following the tragic murder of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in police custody. Within hours, protesters started chanting slogans against the entire regime while clashing with security forces.   While the uprising laid bare the regime’s fragility and looming demise, some still argue the state will crush the protests, as it did during the  November 2019 uprising  by killing 1,500 protesters in a few days, or use methods such as the recent chemical attacks against schools to prevent people from rising.    Others claim that the clerical regime can sta

The Defiant Youths targeted the headquarters of the judiciary of the criminal mullahs in Abbasabad city of Mazandaran

In response to the attack and shooting of the prosecutor and police officers on the oppressed farmers of Daniyal village, killing 2 of the residents and injuring 5 others, the defiant youths targeted the headquarters of the judiciary of the criminal mullahs in Abbas Abad city of Mazandaran. In response to the confiscation and usurpation of the oppressed farmers’ lands by the prosecutors of the Mullahs, brave youths rose up to oppose and confront the actions of the repressive forces, but the repressive forces of the mullahs fired without hesitation. Two innocent youths named Siamak Kalari and Mirza Ali Kalari were killed by direct fire and 5 others were injured. Government media tried to portray this conflict as a conflict between residents, but even the regime’s news agency admitted to the attack and shooting to expropriate property from farmers and residents. Acquisition of agricultural lands is one of the most important sources of astronomical incomes for the IRGC and government ma
