The surge in executions should be a matter of grave concern for every civilized nation. The concept of fake news is now being applied to the Iran regime. Facebook announced that it has removed hundreds of accounts, and pages linked to a propaganda operation in Iran. It has been said that the main aim of the disinformation campaign is to circulate fake news against the regime’s rival states.
But the Iranian regime’s main target has always been its main opposition group (MEK/PMIO) which the regime has waged lots of misinformation campaigns against it as part of Psychological Warfare to set the stage for terrorism.
